Nikon Capture 4.4.0 Updater - Windows

Issues addressed with Nikon Capture 4 version 4.4.0

Nikon Capture Editor

* Support for RAW images captured with the D200 has been added.

* Portions of the functions performed from the Advanced RAW palette in Tool Palette 2 have been changed.

* A B&W (black-and-white) option has been added to the Color Mode item.

* The method used to reproduce tones in highlight portions exhibiting a loss of detail when Exp Comp is set to a negative value has been improved.

*(Does not apply to RAW images captured with the D1 or COOLPIX-series cameras.)

*When images edited by setting Exp Comp to a negative value with Nikon Capture 4 Ver. 4.3.2 and earlier are opened in Nikon Capture 4 Ver. 4.4.0 or later, the results of compensation in highlights exhibiting a loss of detail may differ.

* Support for the D200 has been added.

Issues addressed with Ver. 6.2.7

* Support for RAW images captured with the D200 has been added.

* Support for Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger) has been added.

* The effects of image editing with the Color Aberration Control feature in Nikon Capture 4 Ver. 4.3.0 or later are now reflected when these images are displayed in Nikon Browser or Nikon Viewer. (Nikon Editor has supported this feature since Ver. 6.2.6.)

* Structure of the Color Management tab in the Preferences dialog has been changed. The Open ColorSync button has been removed. Simply a choice between the Default RGB color space and CMYK separation profile has been provided.
